OK folks.....I appologise for going off the deep end with this Bali thing,but it appears as soon as Aussies are involved in atrocities,no other countries give a tinkers hoot,BUT when they are in trouble.....all Australians have to stand and salute the flag....why cant we live our own life.
As I said yesterday....I support the greatest Football club ever known,I am born and bred Australian,I live in Australian,I have fought for Australia and I AM PROUD TO BE AN AUSSIE.
Bali is the last straw for our great country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pete, I guess you haven't heard this one "if it weren't for the US we'd all be Japanese by now"..heheh now now, just poking, as I mentioned before, this is not the place. I am, you are, we are Australian...and my hubby is a Canadian, so my kids are half Aussie, half Canadian..and my grandparents are Irish and so it goes. As Oprah would say "We're all Human Beings" and as such we all think these terrorists acts are pure evil. Let's not isolate Australia from the rest of the world with the attitude of 'u don't care about us, so we don't care about u'.. Here's one last cliche on this topic and then I'm zipping up..no more on this subject..none, nil, zilch.. DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU.

my sympathies go also to the balinese, many of whom have now lost their livelihood. from the accounts of friends who've been there, they are a lovely, friendly and peace loving people, and to have this happen to them on their island is another tragedy.
