Mike Henderson & the Bluebloods. First Blood CD.

Excellent (mostly) uptempo blues. Some nice, gutsy guitar and blues harp.

Hard wired - the new Metallica number. Very nice. A little fragment of guitar solo channeling Led Zeppelin, an extremely catchy, shoutable chorus (it may well replace "Good Old Collingwood Forever" as our club's theme song) and, at one stage, something that sounded just a tad like a vocal melody. It's a keeper.

Heard a bit of it on MMM this morning. Sounded good. Just trying the full version now.

For those interested.

Chilling listening to my Dad's fav, Amazing Grace.

Not sure if he'd appreciate the interpretation but I like it.

Stretchin' Out Live.

Duke Robillard's '98 CD.

A good mix of R 'n' B, Rockabilly, Swing and Jazz sounds, with Robillard on guitar.
