i want MY collingwood back

Hey who else is absolutely pissed at the things
that have been goin down lately.

Remember the days when goin to the footy meant that
we were GOING to win
and if we didnt we were not disgraced.

Remember the days when we could go out and recruit
good players.

Remember players like the great late darren millane
oh gee what a great captain he woulda been.

Remember the days when we had real supporters
not like the bandwagoners we have now.

Remember the pride when wearing the collingwood jumper.

Remember when we were feared and not the laughing
stock of the competition.

Remember the days when us supporters with the arse out of our
pants was just as important as a bloke in a suit.

Remember never ever finishing down the bottom
year after year.

Oh please is there some one else that can remember
just like me.

Is there some one else that wants there collingwood back
just like the joffa does ??

I do,
most of all i want the supporters to stick with them, on top or at the bottom of the ladder. Also supporters that don't go changing teams because we are having a couple of bad years.

I'm not that old but remember a bit yeah.
Pies were like the biggest thing the other teams would shit them selves when they had to face us and now they just laugh including it as a week off or pencil it in as an automatic win.
Oh well I still love Collingwood (my number#1 team) the best!!!

Funny! I was thinking the same thing.
The main thing I miss is that match of the round feeling almost every week. And you could take the piss when you kicked a teams arse.
I remember standing behind the Melbourne Cheer Squad at VFL Park, Bay 35 for obivious reason, and thinking "today is going to be heaven or hell" AND... we kicked their arse. Mate! Did I give it 'em. They wouldn't dare look over their shoulders or leave early. "Sit down mate you paid good money, there's a whole quarter left"
The sad thing was it was 1990. F$%K!!!
I getting sick of waiting. I'll wait but I'm getting sick of waiting.
Let me ask one question. What will you be thinking if we win the first five next year?

Even if we won the first 10 matches next year, I wouldn't be confident of us making the finals. And that is the absolute truth. Our losing streaks are the only thing we're famous for these days.

yep i too have cried at the footy
deep within my heart im crying for my collingwood

sometimes at night before goin to sleep i lay awake
in amazement at how this club has done it all wrong

And then i think about all collingwood supporters
and just wonder why the hell do we bother.

But i tell you we do bother and we bother proudly
cause we are yearning for OUR COLLINGWOOD.

i want my collingwood back !!

It is my right to want my collingwood back.

Yeah lets get something happening how about stickers.

And we are doing this out of love for our collingwood.

Don't worry Piegirl#41 I cry for footy too---> never cry for anything else but only ever for FOOTY coz thats all that matters!!!
Grand Final week i cried so much --->cried for the last game at Waverley (ressies GF) cried for getting Grand Fianl tickets cried during the grand final breakfast as i thought about the past season wishing our Pies were in, cried at the Melbourne race when the siren went for the last time this year!!!

And some ppl say its only a game how dumb they r!
