if the vision of those two crying doesnt make you tear up as well, you shouldnt call yourself a collingwood fan.

Yeah it shows how much Malthouse cares about the club and the players. It certainly tells me that this club is heading in the right direction

Essendon 2000 premiers
2001 runners up
2002 fifth
2003 ????
The slide continues

that was the most emotional scene i've ever seen..it made me cry
it just shows how much hard work and effort they have both put into the club......

there are two types of people ... those that barrack for collingwood ... and those that wish they did ... to be continued

I still cry whenever I think of that and also poor Bucks making the speech after the game.
And to see poor Wakes just sitting there you could tell how shattered they all must have been by the loss.
They were fantastic and I'm so proud of their efforts.

I've watched it 4 or 5 times and it made me cry each time.

Lica and Malthouse is the image that will stick in my mind regarding this Grand Final for many years to come.

I didn't see it until I watched the news. My head was in my hands for a while after the siren blew and couldn't hold back the tears but I bawled my eyes out on the train back to Viccy Park when I heard someone say Mick was crying with Licca. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to see it as I feel so bad for them but I'm glad I did as it only proved to me what a great honest club we support and how much their hearts are in it.

I just love Mick. He's the greatest and I he loves us just the same.

Definitely one of the most emotional moments I've seen in sport, and especially because of my black and white heart. (The tissues have certainly had a work out).

If that's the emotion and passion our players, coaching staff and all involved at the Collingwood Football Club have - then we have the biggest and brightest future in front of us.

GO PIES!

I cried at the siren, but didn't see the footage of Lica and Mick, I turned off the TV - just couldn't watch it.
