Thanks for the news JLC. It looks like the Cricketers is at the end of its lease. Could this be the end of Joffas speaches. Could the Cricketers be turned in to a trendy 2 floor inner city apartment. What has the world come to!

The original team used to meet up at the royal. However the Royal is pretty crap and i wouldnt want to go there. Im hoping the Cricketers stays.

As there aint any Crickets next year.....why not get a syndicate together ,buy a pub and call it the MAGPIE BAR!!!!
We did that way back 20 years ago in the CB days,went out and brought a bar,called it the CB Bar and each Friday,Saturday & Sunday we had it manned for about 12 hours a day.It worked well until the CB era died.We sold the bar at a monstrous profit and donated the funds to the kids' hospital.
Good through hey....approach to PIES management and ask them for support!!!!!!

Sad but true. We have until July next year, so we should get a few more games in next season.

I wonder when Olympic Park is going to be ready? That could be a logical place to meet, if there is no Cricketers.

Going by last Saturday night, the Depot's bouncers do not seem to be as tolerant towards Magpie supporters as those great guys at the Cricketers.

JLC cracked me up when he went into a frenzy lining up the bouncers to have their picture taken with us on Saturday.
