I'll digress even further.....the black fellas set the country alight annually...causing massive pollution....and changing the ecology forever. We could also mention their modern day hunting methods....but I digress. |
The ecology had a long time to adapt to those changes, however. Changed fire regimes in the mere 221 years since white settlement have played a part in extirpating many species, and many more have been pushed towards extinction.
