It's a toss-up between this snooze-fest and The Hunt for Red October, for the most boring movie i've ever endured at the cinema... _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

I have seen the Doco but I watched the Movie Snowden. I enjoyed the movie and I have tried to tell the Mrs everything she does electronically is monitored and she never believed me. She does now. lol
A good watch and the main actor is the guy from 3rd Rock from the sun ( Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and plays the part really well. |

I've always liked him his '90s films Angels and Insects, Institut Benjamenta and Intimacy are all excellent. Would have loved to see some of his Shakespeare performances on stage; apparently that's always been his real forte. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Not a film but a film clip for a few seconds.
The impeccable Peter Lorre & the wonderful Vincent Price

Man I know I was watching a second rate pirated copy but Jesus H Christ never have I seen a more unwatchable movie.
And I mean that literally, couldn't bloody well tell what was going on for most of it.

never understood the original movie! Was originally put out there as being an actual documentary thing, to get people sucked in to watch it. didn't know there was a new one, looks like it's supposed to tell the story of what happened and what what was captured on film meant. Think I'll pass! Thanks for the heads up! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

I was talking about the 2016 version.
The original one was okay given the low budget and it certainly started a new wave of movie making though the concept of "found footage" had been used before.
A small little horror movie in a similar vein that I enjoyed and found quite scary was "Willow Creek".

Another straight to DVD movie that I saw a while back that I enjoyed also was "Cop Car" starring Kevin Bacon.

Ah, I thought you were talking about the original! Hard to keep up with all the remakes.
I saw a really good (if painful to watch at times) German film called Everyone Else, about an eccentric but deteriorating relationship. A very different portrayal of love to what you usually see in the movies, but I think there's a lot of truth there.

Watched the A team movie last night, based on the old TV series.
I wasn't expecting much, considering how many of the 80's TV series have been slaughtered when they've been taken to the big screen (Starsky and Hutch and Dukes of Hazard come to mind) but this was actually quite good.
Played a little loose with the characters, but good mindless action flick.
I enjoyed it. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Inglorious basterds.
Tarantino is a whack job but I love him. First time I'd seen it, very not bad. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
