Lol. Glad you enjoyed it, WPT!
Saw Inside Out with the family at a squash court cinema (!) in Lakes Entrance yesterday. A really intelligent and creative kids movie; the best thing Pixar has ever done, I reckon. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

The One I Love. Starring Elizabeth Moss (Mad Men) A small budget film about a couple going through a bumpy patch who go away for a week end to a country house and find themselves in a bizarre situation. It's the kind of film Twilight Zone fans would enjoy. It was a pretty good. |

Minions - for the youngest's fifth birthday.
They had such a good idea to work with, but decided to go auto pilot and take the easy money. Very disappointing. _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

Charming film. Saw it on blu ray at home.
Haven't seen a blu ray film for a while & I forgot how good the Plasma is for Blu ray & the sound was wonderful.
Delightful film, great production design & Wes Anderson's usual quirkiness.
Highly recommended. I think David mentioned this film when it first came out.

No. However, I wasn't much of a fan of the first though. _________________ âI even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didnât keep âem under long enoughâ Kinky Friedman |

Thanks for the heads up! It's my favourite time of year, though I rarely post about it much here because, me and WPT aside, this is a bit of a cinephile-free zone.
But now you've brought it up, I guess I should pass on the good news: I'm participating in this upcoming festival's "critics campus", an event run over the course of a week in which a small group of aspiring film critics get expert tuition, a free pass to see as many films as they like, a hotel room in the city and their daily reviews published in The Age. Needless to say, I can't wait.
Here's my profile:
