Watched Boyhood last night. At 2 hours 45 minutes I'm glad I watched it at home because I could never sit still that long in a cinema.

Filmed over 12 years was an interesting concept and I think they did it really well. I liked it. 8/10.

IMDb are stating Godzilla 2 will have Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah in it so I'm guessing you'll get your wish in 2018 for more Godzilla.

Sounds good to me, I didn't mind the movie anyway, just thought being a movie about Godzilla there would have been more of him. But anyway just a minor issue I guess.

I watched Yes Man with Jim Carey overnight, not a bad movie.

I quite liked that too—really makes you think about the passage of time and the process of being a father (although, I hope I'll be a little less absent than Ethan Hawke's character was, lol).

Blended, harmless Adam sander drew berrymore rom com, fun stuff,

And strangely bad gramps, which is more a doco than a movie, but had some very real if crude laughs!

I am going to watch Blended later, I watched 22 Jump Street last night.

I thought it was pretty good, enjoyed it at least. Helped ease the mood of last night.

It's a Crow double header today, first up it's The Crow City of Angels, followed by Salvation.

First film that Lola and I have watched together since becoming parents. It was beautiful. Smile

Well maybe Home Alone 1 and 2 is more useful then, at least it would educate on what to do when left home alone and burglars are around. Very educational film.

Had a look at the latest Hercules movie starring the Rock.

Action flick 100%. I thought I saw a glimmer of a plot there for a second at one point but nah.

yeah well, what can I say..................

Just saw this movie mentioned on the news and thought I'd check out the trailer on line.

Sort of fitting given some of the current discussion about fighting and flags, it's a WWII movie, "Unbroken"

Here's the trailer http://www.bbc.com/earth/story/20141117-why-seals-have-sex-with-penguins?ocid=fbert

This could just be worth a look. I've read about the Japanese POW camps, my uncle was in one. Changi.

As an aside, if you ever want to get a good take on life in Changi, read King Rat by James Clavell. Exceptionally well written book that doesn't focus on the bad but treats it as common place. The ending is special. Great author.
