Saw two films in the last couple of weeks:

1. Roma: 2018 from Mexico. Loved it. Best foreign film at the Golden Globes recently.

2. The Favourite 2018: Great acting, cinematography and wardobe. Fun. Didn't go anywhere but is a hoot.

Just watched both those trailers. While they're not flicks that would normally appeal to me, they look like I'd enjoy them. Will definitely be watching them now. Cool

It's a shame that Roma is no longer in the cinemas in Perth.

Bohemian Rhapsody.

If youve ever double stamped and clapped and sung the wrong words to We will rock you, if youve hit the high notes to the title song, sung along to any of their amazing catchy songs, then you have to see this movie. Its brilliant, so well done. I had more than a couple of tissue moments, and alas, when they played my Colingwood song, We Are The Champions, I sobbed! 5 $$%^%%$ points. **** you umpire! Sorry. Not over it clearly!

Brilliant movie, 10/10, no one left unitil the final credit rolled

Watched it today. Agree 100% with your post Jo.

If you haven't seen this, you must!

We (Kel, Jess 'n me) got on Youtube and turned up the volume for; Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy little thing called love and We will rock you on the way home.

A black and white film, a period drama and a movie about a band fronted by a rampant homosexual.

Working in the heat must be finally getting to our Skids as that reads like David's or WPT's usual Sunday night viewing.

LOL.

(Ok, I gotta confess, it's so far out of my wheelhouse it's ridiculous, but it does look interesting for some reason)

It's certainly both of those things! Not every day you watch a period drama with several uses of the word "c&#tstruck"...
