This is one kid we should be looking into. Rightfully over looked last year due to off field issues but under good guidance this year at Swan Districts he has sorted that out and not missed a beat. This is a kid whose not in & out of games but wins them and is constantly good.

And the beauty is if he should chose to want to move back home in the first few years then he will be a huge trade chip.

Season 2012 2013
Club Swan Districts
Games 11 19
Kicks 140 236
Handballs 30 66
Disposals 170 302
Marks 60 112
Goals 16 48
Points 11 25
Tackles 17 31
FF 7 12
FA 2 8

Probably missed our chance last year when we could have picked him up as a rookie. How would our club have been a worse environment for him than Swan Districts? I expect he'll be snatched by another club now.

Rumour has it he's been suspended twice by Swan Districts this year, was also lucky to get away with other incidents, the clubs would know all about it if the rumours are true though, if they are he'll never get on an AFL list.

He played 19 of a possible 21 senior games this season, and another 2 in the reserves.

So, essentially, he played every weekend of the year. If he was suspended, it would of had to have been during the bye weekends...

Definitely worth the risk I think. This kid may have just pulled his head in and realised the opportunity he may be missing if he didn't. Talent!

Relying on the girlfriend to keep him in line tells me he's not over his issues.

But as the saying goes - those who don't risk don't drink the champagne....

They have said he has not missed a session or recovery and done extra work in the gym. I just feel for a small price we will make a huge profit.

The kid has talent, always has. I'd take him, just not too high in the draft. Using a high pick is high risk, potentially high reward. If he's still round at our second pick then yes, we want as best as we can get as a gold plated cert with our first pick.

Don't know how bad the problems are so I can't really say but %$^£$%^&%% me, I would have to give it a try, even with a first rounder if need be (looks like we'll have 2). Kid is an absolute gun on the field, no question. I get giddy just thinking about him playing for us.

His defensive game is virtually non existant. that is... he doesn't tackle.

I am sure this would be his only weakness and like all attacking mid/fwds this could be added to his already impressive game.

Pretty sure that is a total non issue for clubs. The only issue with him is the off-field antics.

As I've said elsewhere, would rather the club take a risk on this kid than some of the recycled players being suggested in other posts. Comes down to a question of cost. Sure other teams will look at him.
