On one hand, superstitious twaddle, wanting to change our logo because of some bullshit irrelevant piece of prose.

On the other hand, having two magpies, "Side by Side" could be a goer, if done right.

Unless I see a really really good 2 pies option, I'll stick with the current one thanks

I would certainly like to see the logo updated although not changed entirely. And frankly, as a Graphic designer for more than a decade and one of Australias best known Wildlife Artists, as well as a psychotic magpie supporter for 40 years I would suggest that the perfect person for the task is, well, me.

The current magpie itself has a few faults which should be fixed, and I see no reason why it shouldn't be joined by a mate to reflect our current club slogan of 'Side by side' (although it should be said we change slogans more often than Mark robertson changes his Reg Grundies). I also think the backwards flag is a bit poor, as are the laurel wreaths on the edges (Sure they symbolise victory, but the Laurel is European).

As one who, to the great surprise of my pathologist, actually has Black & White blood I would be happy to offer my services to Collingwood for free or for a nominal fee, but I would want a fair whack of time to work with the club in seeking the views of the faithful, the task is too important to be knocked up in a week.
