Quote:
In front of 150 close family and friends, Collingwood skipper Nick Maxwell tied the knot with his longtime partner Erin last weekend at the picturesque Gurragawee retreat, located in the surrounds of the Byron Bay Hinterland.

Several teammates and their partners attended the ceremony including Josh Fraser, Shane O’Bree, Simon Prestigiacomo, Nathan Brown, Dale Thomas, Scott Pendlebury and Sharrod Wellingham.

JA pulled out with blisters - not even Cliff Young could make it to Byron Bay in a pair of thongs!

Was Didak and Shaw there?

Because Didak, Shaw and Wellingham were all on my flight to Los Angeles this morning. I had a chat to them as we went through immigration. They were on there way to New York.

Last week's paper reported that the 'ratpack' - Swanny, Dids, Heater (I think) and Johnno - were attending Chris Tarrant's wedding, also in Byron Bay, on the same day. Bucks was invited to both Maxy and Taz's wedding, but apparently his wife is a close friend of Taz's wife, so he was expected to probably attend that one.
