I can walk and chew gum: I wasn’t too sure who was funnier: Andrew Bolt or The Betoot Advocate:

“ Tony Abbott calls for Prince Andrew to be knighted”

“ Peter Fitzsimmons announces that Prince Andrew to be new face of Australian Republican Movement”

All I can say is The Betoota Advocate's headlines are always the best part of the pieces, and that's not a compliment. Take the Tony Abbott knighting Prince Andrew one – that's a hilarious idea, but the piece itself is just the same old tedious repackaging of actual news with fake quotes.

tl;dr Bad satirical media outlets need to die swiftly.

They’re hit and miss. Some headlines are very funny, some articles if you xan call them that are a miss and some are very good. The Greta Thunburg, the ICE one and the two on Mildura are pretty good.

I know it might be a bit low brow for literary editors 😉

The reference to Scotty from Marketing is hysterical

I was watching some old videos from The Onion to make me feel better (perhaps to check if I still have a functioning sense of humour), and I thought this was pretty funny:

I didn't realise you were a fan of The Bolt or that you had a Hun subscription so you could read his stuff. What's he up to that you find funny? Razz

David seems to be focusing a bit on satire lately, so here's one I found pretty amusing.

This is simple but I found it amusing.

Saw a guy today in the CBD wearing a Tshirt that simply had written on it:

"Atheism is a non Prophet organisation" Very Happy

I thought it was clever and funny.

A couple of weeks back, my cousin asked me if she could use the place in Toc on the 19th and 20th December, I said yeh.

If it's hot here, it's hotter there and cuz isn't equipped to handle heat. So I messaged her to see if she'd gone up or stayed home. She went up and said she owed me utility bills. She'd been inside all day, I dare say with the baby split system working overtime ( I really need to upgrade that).

I told her to give the garden a drink before she leaves and we'll call it even. Hopefully she doesn't bugger up my automatic timing system.

The baby split system doesn't really get to the bedrooms, so I'm laughing at the poor buggers bad timing

Ducked over to Cobram this morning, old people on holidays in hot weather have the worst fashion sense.

One tall skinny old dude was rocking footy shorts and a Bintang singlet with sandals and more hair on his shoulders than on his head, another had the shoes and socks, board shorts and a long sleeve flannelette shirt, tucked in to the boardies of course.

Then you have the more generously proportioned female's with that particular walk, the one where each step the leg goes out, around and forward, that says there's some serious chafing hapening down there. To complete the look there's a heat distressed iPhone poking out out of a size F+ bra.

The cop: "im sorry mate"

"no need to be sorry, i shouldnt have been drinking"

cop 'what have you had mate?'
