It's actually called a MEDIAN strip Dangles, not a medium strip. Didn't think Tannin would let it through. Wink

The Embarassed suggests to me that it was merely a typo. In the interests of good community relations, in this instance the Grammar Police have decided not to prosecute.

Ah well. That's the first mistake I've made in fifteen years. I guess the golden run had to come to an end at some stage. To be honest it's a relief in a lot of ways because the pressure of keeping the streak going was really starting to weigh me down.

I thought that but then the confused & shocked faces led me to believe he may have been unaware of his error. Also aswell, it's a common mistake easily made. Wink Laughing

Parked the car, pressed the button on the key to lock it, crossed the street, walked up a hundred yards, went into to the post office, came out, walked back a bit, crossed the street, pressed the button to unlock the car, opened the door to get in - and there was a woman sitting in the drivers seat!

Woops! Sorry. Wrong car! Same make, same model, same colour, same street. Well, I was close.

Not so much a laugh but a smirk. But as there's no "Things That Made You Smirk" thread I'll have to go closest to the pin.

Anywho, the bookies who have already paid out on Hawthorn to win this year's flag. Bet they'll have second thoughts if the Hawks lose again next week to the Eagles. Smile

I don't understand why bookies would pay out on anything while there's still a chance that it might not happen. What's the advantage of doing it?

Cecil the lion may not have been the nicest cat in the neighbourhood, but cut him some slack...!

Wandering round the market this morning. Bloke had a pusher with a toddler in it. He was looking at a stall oblivious to the fact the kids beanie was on the ground.

So a good samaritan picks up the Carlton beanie and hands it back to Dad, who promptly says thanks and puts it back on the kids head.

I laughed to myself and almost made a crack top the bloke about the kid having good enough taste to not want that thing on his head. Laughing Laughing

Then I remembered we just got beat by Melbourne so I shut up and walked on.
