You also needs to fire Musllims, due to they are most experienced in terror attacks and Christians will learn from them or get supplies from them. And please also fire all Chinese, they are stealling our babies to be raped by Chinese officials everyday! And please fire all Italians, because Vatican is based out of Rome, and if Pope appoint a terror team himself, it will be conviniently Italian background people mixing into your work force!
And special attentions to the Jewwish my friend. Their motherland Israel protects pedophile. Remember Malka Leifer the melbourne teacher who molested more then 100 Aussie kids? Israel refuse to return her to us, despite of Dave Sharma's effort to bring him to justice. Knowing the Christians launching terror attack, the Jewwish will join the mass raping party and they know if they are caught, all needful to do is to return to Israel and they will be protected! How injurous they are to our society you tell me Magazines! Please do fire them all!

Isn't it clear?  They want us to sack our entire non-Indian workforce pronto, lest Catholics go all Al Qaeda on our arses (no, that's not supposed to be a double entendre, shh). To be frank, I'm really not sure that responding to the threat of these supposedly angry and potentially homicidal Christians is to give them one more thing to be mad about by firing them all, but, hey, logic isn't necessarily """""Greg Craven""""""'s strong suit.

It's just an autofill thing – the address is 'magazines@' – but I agree, it does make it even more surreal!
I'd reply but a) I don't want to encourage them; and b) there's a slight chance that getting people to reply might be the point of the spam!

Greg Craven is actually the name of the Vice Chancellor of ACU.
Have you considered forwarding that email to the real Greg Craven or to someone else at ACU?

I wasn't thinking it might give him a laugh, that's someone sending a deranged email purporting to be him. If I were him, I'd like to be aware of it at least and possibly see if there's any action I could take.

This could also go into the things that made you go WTF but it is funny if true...
Apparently both Instagram and Facebook were both taken off-line for maintenance yesterday. A Brisbane based TV News report had to advise people to stop calling the QLD police on Triple 0 about it.

I'll confess I laughed when I saw that.
A lot of people seem to have a seriously unhealthy reliance on social media. I saw a piece on the news with 1 cafe owner sooking because he always posts up photos of his daily specials and a teen girl complaining that she couldn't upload photos of her breakfast, tell people how she slept last night or any other of the mundane stuff that must have her followers fascinated.

12 year old kid in Thailand killed when he was watching his phone and walking along a train track and didn;t see a train. I am not laughing about it but it reinforces some of the statements here that social media is anything but social .
Some dimwith in Defence in my office noticed a heap of chicken had been in the fridge too long and he sent an email rather than ask around. He pressed send to all and about 40000 people worldwide (embassies etc) received the message. He immediately got 1000s of out office messages and idiots replying with the result that the Defence restricted network was down for 3 days due to the traffic.
I was on jury duty and my housemate told me. They couldn.t do bulk delections. The perpetrator had his account suspended for 3 months and he was formally warned as where the people who deliberately replied. When I got back to work after 3 weeks i walked in sat down and turned on my computer. The phone was already ringing. Did you get my email and what are you going to do about it. Well I will get around to it but there are 3500 emails waiting to be opened. It was around y hours before I deleted the rubbish ones and I said to the boss. I think I will go for a beer and not worry about the work ones till the morning.
They restricted access to that function to the Secretary, the Ministers and The CDF and the network chief administrator.

I don't know whether to laugh or be worried by people's over reliance of social media.
