I checked in with the daughter on her European jaunt. She's been in London for a week or so after a couple of weeks in Greece and can't wait to leave.

She said most of the days there have been rainy and cloudy, and described London as just like Melbourne but not as cold. Laughing

I reminded her that it was summer time there and that they put out warnings when the temp gets over 30, she replied that the joint wasn't built to cope with over 30. It was warm, but nothing like a Melbourne summer.

She's looking forward to heading over to the mainland and seeing Europe in the camper van they've hired.

She'll love Europe, from the (only) 8 European countries I've visited they're all beautiful & probably even more enjoyable on a driving trip!

FFS 100 km's south of Cooktown and the royal Australian yacht club (RAN) didnt know it was there.

I imagine a large pineapple and a senior sailor in Canberra are about to become very intimate on Monday morning.

So close to being a Darwin award winner.

Going scuba diving with a hangover and with GHB and Ecstacy in your system from the night before, mistake No. 1

Sticking your dick in a giant clam when you have an allergy to seafood, mistake no 2. (it's almost 2 and 3. Just sticking your dick in a giant clam is a WTF but doing it when you have a seafood allergy?)

The clam deciding to hang onto your dick, very nearly strike 3 and out. dickhead. Mr. Green

Sort of funny and sad but definitely mad.

Israel has been bombing Iranian arms depots in Syria for some time now as the Russians & North Koreans have been supplying Iran for some time and Iran has been sending advanced weaponry to Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israel sees them as an existential threat (which they are). Israel does not want an Iranian presence in Syria as Irans stated goal is to destroy israel.

Yesterday Israel bombed yet another Iranian missile depot in Latakia near the Mediterranean north of Lebanon. Israel gave Russia notice (the Russians say one minutes notice) Syria fired anti aircraft missiles and anti-missile missiles and struck a Russian aircraft carrying 14 people while trying to shoot down Israeli planes (looks like civilians were not involved).

On the face of it this made me laugh but sad for those harmed as it were.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/sep/18/russia-military-aircraft-syria-jet-lost-contact

Some comnentators say Russia is baming Israel to save face.

"Israel acknowledges conducting strike on weapons facility near Latakia, but says Syria ‘fully responsible’ for downing Russian spy plane after Moscow threatens countermeasures"....

^ If only auto-grammar-correct had changed "the ME is" to "I am".
