Too true about the lack of skills - but after the Prelim I think it was that obvious it did not require a mention.

This board needs to be questioned more and made more accountable to ensure they are kept on their toes.
To label those who question the board white ants is presumably an attempt to stifle debate and questioning of the board.
Less debate, discussion and questioning is certainly not in the best interests of the club IMHO ... |

I^ YES- If I were on the Board, I would fully expect to be under scruitiny and questioned on decisons by Collingwood members, that just goes with the territory. Boards of Companies are under scrutiny-well, most of them anyway-and the Pies Board is not above critisism, nor should it ever be.

Rational, Logical, coherent and constructive debate is welcome,
Illogical, emotional, irrational and biased debate is what this thread is about - of which yourself, MEMBER and to a lesser extent others in the "change for change for sake" brigade are all guilty of. |

It is when they have Illogical, emotional, irrational, and biased views, that ignore that facts, and lack perspective on the progress the club has made, and continues to make both on and off the field.

Impatient maybe, whiteants? No dont think so ...
Interpretation of the 'facts' and the amount of progress being made by the club are certainly not clear cut and should be well and truely up for debate.
Those who seek to silence debate and have a problem with the club being questioned, held to account and being kept on their toes are actually doing the club a disservice ... |

Only if they are trying to silence Logical, Rational, and Unbiased debate.
Some opinions DO NOT fall into this category and therefore are the exception, and the target of this thread.

Attempting to silencing any debate is unhealthy no matter how illogical you might consider it.
Argue your case and disagree all you like but to attempt to silence anyone wont achieve anything.
What you consider illogical, irrational and biased could legitimately be considered logical, rational and unbiased by others. Such assertions are all in the eye of the beholder. |

This isnt an attempt to censor or stifle debate. It is a criticism of posters who make illogical, irrational and biased assertions.
I have not attempted to censor your opinions or anyone else, just to show how some of the posts made here do not add to the quality of the discussion.
Feel free to state your opinions on the progress or lack of progress but at least try to present some actual facts.
Note constantly repeating the same shit over again and again does not help.

^^Ya gotta love 'em! As soon as their beliefs are held up to scrutiny, its "Help, help we're being repressed!" when quite clearly nothing of the sort is happening - given that they are free to post on Nick's whenever they like (within the guidelines of course), their calls of repression etc are just plain spurious.
There are those that post out of genuine concern for the club and there are those that post to undermine and tear down. The former aren't termites - the latter clearly are... so Termite is as Termite does..

Why are you calling Collingwood people on here whiteants ?
Which Collingwood people in particular onhere are you actually calling whiteants ?
Personally I find the overwhelming majority of the Collingwood support base on here and in general to be good people and just dont think that term is appropriate.
