Dawes takes a strong grab 35m out, straight in front.
Nails it! We lead 3.2 - 2.5 _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Dodgy umpiring decision (Dyas not awarded a juggling mark in defence) allows NB to run through for their third.
North Ballarat 3.5.23
Collingwood 3.2.20
And there's the siren. Great first quarter by Cook, while Bryan, Corrie, McCarthy, Reid and Barham have all contributed.

Thanks David, would like to see him up forward, maybe give Medders a run in the back half
What a shocker by Brown, although the umpire was quite slow in deciding if he would pay it
It was Dyas? I thought they said Brown, anyway the umpire did pay it, eventually |

Sorry, maybe it was Brown. Thought I saw a 41.
Wonder if there are any other Nicksters down here at the ground today? Fair bit of Collingwood support here. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Now there is justice, a soft free kick and the player who played for it kicks into the man on the mark and Collingwood take it down the other end for a goal
2 points down now |

Bennell has kicked our only two goals this quarter, has three of our five. Pies trail by just 2 points after being down by 14 points about 5 minutes ago.
Rounds puts us in front! 6.4 plays 5.7 _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange

Yeah, I've been impressed by JB. Had to actually check the Collingwood page to find out who 48 was after he kicked his first goal.
Some terrible skill errors. Can't get it out of defensive 50. North have a shot at goal now.
Kicks straight; 3 point lead now to North Ballarat. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange

I'm probably going to have to give up doing updates at half-time. Laptop's running out of batteries. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Siren goes for half-time.
North Ballarat 6.8.44
Collingwood 6.5.41
Pretty even quarter. Disposal has been sloppy at times, though.
Goals: Bennell 3, Cook, Dawes, Rounds
Best: Cook, Bennell, Bryan, Dawes, Reid
Watching Medhurst play is depressing. Not even cutting it at this level. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Medhurst can't be fit, he isnt even trying though.
Ben Reid is by far our best player, by that far it's not funny.
Cox and Reid have kept us in it.
We need to take a risk in the 2nd half and put Rusling up forward. |

That says it all David. Something's not right with him. Hasn't been since he was badly concussed in Brisbane. |
