The Nicky D rumors refuse to go away.

Did anyone see the article with Nick in the Age?
He didn't really say that he wanted to stay and hinted again at heading back to the Harbour city.

And then on Extreme Black and White messageboard, a regular poster said that he knows a bloke that he is a close mate of Nick who says that he is selling his house, going to the Sydney to be with family and friends.

Nick has great potntial and it would be shame if he went. But if he did, we will take Adam Goodes thanks.

Little doubt now I reckon that he is heading back to Sydney, was talk of him re-signing a few times in the past few months but that never happened

Interesting reading on the Swans website redandwhiteonline.com, they don't rate him or want him anyway - soft, lazy, injury-prone the words they use

Its just a rumour, anyone can make them up. He looks pretty happy playing for the pies for mine. Why would he leave a club on the verge of greatness for a team that is going to have to rebuild after the losses of dunkley, kelly & schwass. Why go to a team with a good yet d!ckhead of a full forward who will miss 5 games a year through suspensions.

Hard at it. The Collingwood way.

Doesn't look good.
he actually said that he had 6 good reasons to go to Sydney and six good reasons to stay at Collingwood. But after Fri night he says he may now have 7 good reasons to stay a Pie.
I don't think thats enough to keep him in Vic. It's nothing to do with Collingwood, just a desire to be in a place he feels comfortable. i also don't believe money will be an issue, but i'm sure that the Swans recruiting staff, despite what their fansite says, are well and truly in the ear of his manager at the moment.
I will be sorry to see him go, but if thats his desire then so be it.

i was seaking to nick davis at the hyatt after the port adelaide final and asked the question if he was leaving and he said no but that could mean anything. but the way he looks playing in that black and white jumper he wants to keep playing with the mighty pies

OMG plz nooooooooooooooooo omg i would die if he left he is my fav player aswell as brodie but he is just a great bloke and a great talent but then again if he isnt happy he will leave i just hope that somehting helps him choose us like i hate to say it but a girl or his family move here i dunno but i dont think i could stand it if he left. Thats why i reckon we should do sumthing at the prelim game to show how much he is needed and supportered here at the pies so that he wants to stay.

whether he stays or goes will be decided in october. i'll be sad to see him go(dependant on who we get for him, its a business after all) but i wish he'd shut his mouth til after the finals. last thing we need after such a great win is talk of defectors.

After friday surely he's thinking about staying, after the prelim he's GOTTA be thinking about staying, and when he runs out on that ground on September 28 with 80000 pies supporters cheering him, he'll be hooked. Nick Davis wants to play in a town where football matters, at a club where football matters, and where supporters are dedicated and fearless. He'll stay when he realises what it means to play finals for Collingwood (esp in Melbourne.)

Pies for Premiers 2002, 3, 4, 5, 6....

Davis has commented that he has more reasons to stay in Melbourne that in Sydney.

About the article in the Age, different people view stories differently and decide to report it differently (if you know what I mean), just forget about it. Nick Davis is staying.
