Have finally caught up with a full replay of the game.
3. Didak. He was the closest we had to Andrew McLeod and his creativity and class was the difference in the end.
2. Maxwell. I thought this was his best captain's game yet - coming back after getting ironed out, that punch and gather in the last quarter was the play that won us the match. His reading of the play from half-back was faultless.
1. Wood. Easily the best big man on the ground. His work rate was up, his skills were good and he linked through the middle superbly.
Apologies to Swan - when he started to get on top of Shirley, that made a big difference. Watching him closely, I think he has some claims to being the best player in the competition right now. I'm not kidding. _________________ "The greatest thing that could happen to the nation is when we get rid of all the media.
