Now that we have a week to relax (well not entirely the right word for it), I recommend seeing the film, "Australian Rules". A fellow Collingwood bulletin board buddy I@n, and I saw it Sunday night and loved it. It's almost the best film I've seen since "The Club", although different in that it contains more issues as well as footy. I won't give anything away other than it is of high quality.

My 16yr old lil bro saw it and recommended me NOT to see it. He said it was one the worst movies he has seen.

However, I NEVER listen to anyone's views on movies because I have found that quite often I have a different opinion to them after seeing it.

That's so surprising to consider it one of the worst films he's seen, maybe he's not into footy or has some other aliment like into mindless Steven Segal Hollywood films. You've got to see this film everyone, compulsory viewing in between replays of last friday's match of course.

This link below reviews the film, in case you need any further convincing. I don't seem to be generating a lot of interest on my own. http://www.abc.net.au/farnorth/stories/s665344.htm

It's a pretty good film, but it's not entirely true to the book.
It does make you feel good seeing all the charachters in Magpies gear though,
