Why We Will Win and Grow a Foot Taller!!!!

Isn't it amazing that when a club sacks a coach they virtually ALWAYS win the following week? Something like 14 out of the last 15 times. And what is even more amazing is that they are always a struggling club who have just lost 6 on the trot. So it has to be due to MINDSET.

Our mindset is in our favour. Everyone expects us to go out of the finals...bang bang. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. So we should play the Port game as if it was OUR Grand Final...do or die. Whereas Port WILL be playing the game expecting that their real challenge will come later.

Personally at the moment I really don't care about next week or whether we make it to the GF. I want 1 win, right now, to prove to everyone we have reached this level. I think we should go for broke, like there is no tomorrow. Treat it like the last game of the year. Give Port everything we've got. Make them reel from the pressure we apply.

And when we do win, we will have momentum to GROW that foot taller. Then we can worry about the next game.

Imagine for two whole weeks we can strut our stuff.
Just remember to smile knowingly and enjoy.
Be gracious victors.
Don't rub it in.
It will infuriate the opposition more if we just assume our superiority.
