If collingwood lose to Port, they are likely to play Essendon in the 2nd week of finals. If we win that - Brisbane at the Gabba! Gone for sure. They need to win the first week against Port, then would have a week off - then play adelaide/melbourne or kangas - a much better option!

i think its all agreed the benefits of causing an upset this week. i think it may have been junkboy(? maybe someone else) in another post who made the point re kangas good record against them. presti to have first crack at tredrea. jimmy, lonie, johnno, burns and freeborn are going to be crucial. while attacking defenders, they have all been(with the exception of jimmy clement) far too loose in recent weeks. man on man with attack from defence through david king, glenn archer and co have worked repeatedly for the kangas against port. no reason why we cant do the same.

Too many permutations to worry about.

As they say in the classics, "Take it one game at a time." And another thing they say is, "Where there's life, there's hope."

It's not over till it's over.

I'm quietly confident we'll win this week.
