I don't like Mike

Its only March but Mike Sheahan is at it already for season 1999. He just can't resist bagging us and obviously hates all things black and white. Did anyone see his article in Saturday's Herald Sun. He is on again about Collingwood's media saturation during the off-season. He just can't get it through his thick head that the Pies will always sell more papers than other clubs and when you think about it, have been paying his wage for the last umpteen years for Christ's sake!!!!................... The ironic thing was that directly under it, was a story about Sav's dicky knee (which probably really pissed him off when he saw the final copy) ..........The other irony is that he is whingeing about King Eddie's upcoming appearance on Talking Footy becoming a media issue. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that your show Mike? You're the one that sits there every Monday night on the couch with your mouth open, trying to catch flys.............What REALLY pissed me off though, was that in his annual top 50 players he had 'Bucks' at number 5........Please??? Carey at No.1 - fair enough, James Hird at no.2.....haa! don't insult our intelligence anymore Mike. There are not 4 better players going around that Nathan Buckley and you know it. (It probably also really pissed him off that 'Bucks' is on the cover of both the Herald Sun and 'The Age' colour magazine for this season too) No other Collingwood players in the top 50 either. Mike, If your sick of seeing Collingwood in the media don't write about us. Let your colleagues handle our stories. They know which side their bread is buttered on. I propose a boycott of all things Mike Sheahan, effective - immediately..................... GO PIES!!!!!!

I know, Mike Sheahan has a death wish or something, I think it is about time he wakes up realises how important Collingwood is to the AFL, without Collingwood No AFL, that means no job for Mike "I know everything about football...NOT" Sheahan. Also on his top 50, where did he pull James Hied from, just how many games was it that he played last season? Bucks should be 1st or second, he finished 2nd in the brownlow las year..didn't Carey come 6th(although Carey is a great player? Go Bucks, and GO the PIES.

The irony of this situation is that I have just posted to this BB for the first time in about 12 months, I thought it was groundhog day. I think my original pre-dates your role as moderator Mike. Funnily enough as far as Mr Sheehan is concerned it is still relevant.

It probably does Damien. Nick did most of the moderating then and his was the only name that was listed as a moderator. I was around though as a second fiddle moderator and handling the technical support.
