just a quick word on richo - a survivor of our club for over 10 yrs. not flashy but throughout all the massive changes in playing lists we've gone thru under shaw and MM, he has survived. he is clearly a guy coaches and fellow players respect and admire. for all the talk of bucks, richo is yet to play a finals match and after being dropped this week, it seems unlikely he will get his chance in this, quite possibly, his final season. a sad end if its the case.

I would not give up hope for our Richo yet.

I do not think it is even a certainty that he will be gone next year. A complete preseason, and an injury free year, is all he needs.

Richo and Broadie didn't play too bad last week, I wonder if they got dropped more for a Williamstown boost. Those two guys have been regular in that side (and have played enough games to qualify) of late and will be a big bonus to Willy. If they can win then it means that the pies have a reserves side for another week, which will be a huge bonus to our preperation going into the first few weeks of the finals. Fringe players like Steiner and Adkins can maintian match fitness and will be much more primed if called upon.
I'd say Richo will be straight back in for the finals, his experience and leadership will in invaluable to a young side embarking on a finals campaign.

was pretty good today i thought. was surprised he was included altho an obvious replacement for rocca i guess. played well enough to get his spot next week.
