Brodie and Richo were omitted and Molloy and Betheras are back!

Molloy- back in business
The Magpies have recalled Jarrod Molloy for the Saturday afternoon date with the Western Bulldogs at the MCG. Molloy has played only four games this season, and his return should serve as a boost for the Pies ahead of the finals. Molloy last played in round 10.

Rupert Betheras also earned a recall after being dropped last week, the first time he had been omitted this season. Brodie Holland and Mark Richardson have both been omitted and will line up with Williamstown in the first week of VFL finals. Ben Johnson will play his 50th game for the Pies after being named in the back pocket.

Nathan Buckley remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, but remains hopeful of being fully fit for the Magpies first final since 1994.

Collingwood has wrapped up a top four spot, but the Pies can move up to third with a win over the Bulldogs and a loss by Adelaide in Fremantle. The Magpies returned to the winner�s list with a hard fought win over St Kilda, a victory that ensured the club of the double chance.

A move to third would see the Pies face the loser of the Brisbane vs. Port Adelaide clash in the opening week of the finals, whereas Collingwood would face the winner of that game if they remain in fourth place.

The Magpies defeated the Dogs by 10 points when the teams met earlier this season, and will face a Bulldogs team that has faced an emotionally draining week with the resignation of coach Terry Wallace.

He has been named the last 3 or 4 weeks and hasn't played.
