Sounds like Wood, Bryan & Dawes might be due for a recall. Anyone else worthy...

According to the radio Box Hill aren't much chop. Better Collingwood players include Blair, Hunt, Francis, Bryan, Cook, Keefe - overall a good team effort they were saying. This is part way through the last quater where the scores are:

C'wood: 17.15.117
B'Hill: 7.2.44

at the 9 min mark of the last qtr.

18.16 to 9.2 as Dawes kicks his 5th (from a one handed mark and a banana kick).

Bryan 5 as well.

Dawes being interviewed on radio. Is happy with development with Bryan in the forward line.

Sounds like Bryan had a corker as well today and seems in the ruck Keefe is really coming on strong, and Wood was BOG! We relaxed in the last quarter and Hawks got a few cheapies.

57 inside 50s to 38, Pies way. 27 frees to 19, Pies way (not lying).

From commentators:

Hawks - Sam Isles played well, for those interested. Ellis and Muston played, Muston their best player. Who cares really.

Pies

Pressure was excellent as well as chasing.

Votes

Commentator 1
0.5 Bryan / Frost
2 Dawes
3 Cameron Wood

Commentator 2
1 Frost
2 Cook
3 Wood - dominant player on ground, combined well with Cook

Commentator 3
Bryan - Still has brain fades but looks great at full forward
Dawes - disappointing 2nd half
1 Hunt
2 Bryan, showed a lot of mongrel, will be tried in 1stsin forward line
3 Wood
Apologies to Dawes, Kris Pendlebury

Commentator 4
1 - Hunt
2 - Dawes
3 - Wood (female commentator, says "Lets get on the Wood". Quality.)

Commentator 5

1 - Bryan
2 - Dawes
3 - Wood

Wood wins BOG award, very happy with the Bryan/Wood/Dawes votes.

Seems a few under pressure now surely especially L Brown and Rocca.

Single Mothers Cup next week Frankston v Werribbee - Major Sponsor Moccasins Company. More quality commentary. I say we replace Throbby Balls, Slow Lane and Quarterbrain with these guys. Much better.

Just got back from Price fixer park.

Wood - very good today. Earned a recall on todays performance.
Dawes - Unstoppable in the first half and looked very dangerous overhead.
Hawks put an extra man back on him in the 2nd half.
Blair - Tough hard little nut who never stops working. This kid will be elevated at seasons end and will definitely play senior footy in 2010. Really good again today.
Cook got plenty of it today and is knocking on the door for senior selection
Reid Strong in the air but kicking is a real problem. If he can overcome his deficiencies by foot, he could be anything.
Goldsack Pretty quiet and eventually got moved forward in the last quarter.
Blight lacks a bit of pace but geez the kids got a leap and a half and can take a grab. Certainly plenty to work with.
Frost, K.Pendlebury & Francis all played quite well.

wood played good. few good plays and rucked well with keefe.

bryan also played good up forward few strong marks and deserves a spot in forward line IF rocca gets injured again.

frost another good player.

bennel a few good marks

reid needs to work on his kicking barely hit a target. he is better handballing then kicking the footy

sidebottom and stanley did NOT play expect 1 or both of them to come in. stanley is on stand by for shaw

what radio station was the game on? there was a guy from sen interviewing the assistant coach's but sen had the footy crows vs dogs game

Bennel didn't play mate. He was sitting in the terraces with Sidebottom.

Mighty Mick Gayfer had a premiership career doing this. Presti also would rather handball than kick.
