If Ron McKeown was so good then howcome he was left out of the 1990 Grand Final? I'll never forget that lonely figure standing in the race.

Goofy Gayfer full back, are you kidding?

You did say "toughest" line up.

What about Rene "The Incredible Hulk" Kink.

Hey Toolman

I think you have just copied those names off a 1990 football record. This is just the 1990 squad, not the toughest team of all time, just the 1990 'toughest' team.

You could name hundreds of other magpie players....

Add Colin Tully, Ian Graham, Terry Waters, Trevor Steer, Tuddy of course, all as tough as nails. Plus Michael Taylor, Ned, Banksie, Pants, Ray Shaw, Ronnie Wearmouth, Ronnie Andrews and Stan Magro.

Only Collingwood people know what we feel - the rest will never understand.

Wheres Bucks.. Harry Collier, Syd Coventry, Phonse kyne... any player that can rack up over 200 games and be consistant enough to win the copeland more than once must have some level of toughness......

Stik35, Ronnie McKeown was left out in 1990 due to "Team-balance", (I really do believe Matthews started that claptrap), as we were looking top-heavy.

Because I'm also older:

B: Magro Kelly Worthington
HB: A.Richardson Christian Crosisca
C: Millane Shaw Brown
HF: McGuane A.Rocca Barwick
F: Daicos Molloy M.Williams
R: Monkhorst Buckley Francis

That's if you're going purely on physical toughness. (Daicos was underrated for physical toughness - I remember in 88 or 89, Ablett kinghit him during a bump in a pack and Daics kept on going).
