WE are a very, very young team, our day in the sunshine will come, sooner rather than later. Of this, I am certain. ! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

All things change - including the Pies... this is a universal force that all things are subject to!
The pies will change next year and beyond - hopefully to be more successful than our injury decimated 2014 campaign _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

A life ban? |
They exist. Just ask Jack Spain.
Frankly I wish Magpie Greg was allowed to post on Nick's. I for one miss his passion as soon after I joined he got the Kyber Pass.
Mind you Magpie Greg was very prescient in 2000 about 2014 at Collingwood. The more things change the more they stay the same at the Westpac Centre. _________________ Rain or hail, I wag my tail |

All right I'll take your advice on this particular matter. Jack tell me about the ban then?

Whatever failings you saw in the club on and off the field in 2014, you must be prepared for even worse in 2015.
The narrative from the club has shifted drastically in the last two months.
We are no longer about premierships and finals.
We are about the rebuild.
The 'mini rebuild on the run' has failed. Injuries, form and mistakes in Free Agency and recruitment have culled our last chance at relevance with the 2010 core.
Let go of seeing guys like Pendles and Trav hold up a premiership cup again. It's not happening for a very long time.
2015 will be worse than 2014 in almost every way.
We'll be younger and more inexperienced.
We'll have less depth across the board. Less competition for spots.
We'll have 4-5 new kids that need time... and other injury-ravaged kids that still await debut.
The leadership void at the club is the biggest I have seen since the time of Nathan Buckley's captaincy in the 90's. If Pendles goes down, who is our captain? Trav? This will be exposed on a weekly basis in 2015.
There are numerous things that both Bucks and Hyne have got very wrong with our list in the last three years - none of them unfixable.
Expect 2015 to be the worst year this club has had since 04/05. I expect talk of tanking and draft picks by Anzac Day.
The sooner you all accept that, the better. |

The only thing Hine has done wrong in the last 2 years has been to recruit has-beens from other clubs.
Russell (was that his name?) - FAIL
Quinten Lynch - FAIL
Clinton Young - FAIL
Jessie White - Borderline/FAIL
The good thing is we have drafted these players without giving up much, so they were probably gambles worth pursuing, however, imo the gambles have all failed. Only White has shown he may yet come good, but he's unlikely to do so. |

The first couple of pages were brilliant reading!!
Considered opinions from obviously diehard Collingwood supporters, even the negative posts had substance mostly.
Actual football analysis!!!!
Don't get much of that around here these days....... _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.
