I still stand by my comments on last years Prelim.
What, exactly, has today's game got to do with the Collingwood VFL side? It's not as if they have played the last three weeks!
The better team won on the day - in fact, Williamstown should not have even been there after stealing the game last week.
As much as I dislike both Port Melbourne and North Ballarat (who are expected to beat Werribee tomorrow), I'd prefer to see NB win on Friday night.
It was a shame that the player Liam Picken cleaned up came good. His report now means nothing.

Funny how every other VFL follower deems Port as the dirtiest team in the VFL/VFA.

I've already posted on a VFL board that the better team on the day won, so nothing sore about the loss. We just weren't good enough, but to say Williamstown has a history of thuggery, especially coming from a Port supporter, is priceless.

I should have realised that from you, history is only what happened today.
Funny how you haven't mentioned when Bonaddio clearly smashed Easton Wood back in Rd17. What would you call leading with the knees when a player is already on the ground?

Didn't say it had anything to do with the Pies VFL side, i'm talking about Collingwood as a club, just having a gentle dig as I honestly didn't like the way you got stuck into Collingwood as the only reason they lost last year (and I know your ties are as strong, if not stronger with Willy, and you know I appreciate that, but my ties are with the Pies and I arched up a bit when you sunk the boots in).
But wasn't being to serious, I think you'd know I was Williamstown all the way as I still appreciate that club, and it's players (Rose, Picken, Meyer, Johnno, Greene, etc).

And this is the most ridiculous comment i've ever heard, clearly NEVER seen a Williamstown game, or watched Picken play EVER! And you probably wonder why everyone hates Port Melbourne!
I could support no one in the VFL, but believe me I'd always hate Port. And I have one uncle who has worked in the VFL for years, and another who has been going to watch Preston for 40 years, and my mother who grew up going to watch Coburg, and they all tell me your beloved club is the dirtiest, most despised scum of a club they've seen. |

What I meant was why would yesterday's game warrant a thread here? There are no longer any ties, so nobody should care.
Maybe it's just to prove that MG isn't all Collingwood as he pretends to be!
