3. Davis

1. Anthony. 2 goals! If it was the early 80s and I was still 10 years old, I'd have a duffle coat, and it would have "John 9 Anthony" on the back in those iron on letters Smile

Apologies to Fraser.

Pendlebury was okay tonight, but he really needs to ditch the unselfishness, and go in a little harder. If he can do both of these things, he'll be a MUCH better player, which is saying something, because he's a gun.

3. Davis
2. Anthony
1. Pendles/Cox

Anthony?? he gets what? about 4 posessions a game? Now if he could get 8-10 with his great kicking he"d be a bloody star, always seems to start well then disappears. I like him but at the moment I cant find votes for him.......... 1. Davis 2. Medders 3. Cox

3. Davis. Sensational performance.
2. McCarthy. Really liked the way he went about it. Good stuff.
1. Presti. Biased? Yeah, but he was good. Still as reliable as ever, and I'd forgotten he could actually kick! Well played Presti.

JA got 10 disposals last night, laid 3 tackles and kicked 2 goals (one at the start and one at the end of the game). I saw him in the back and forward lines last night. There's no denying his effort at all times.

For me

I'm staggered people are nominating Pendles for last night's performance... Getting 20 soft stats by running into space on the wing before handpassing it or kicking it 15 metres to the next bloke free on the wing is not good enough for a player of his calibre.

He has been very average in the past few months, and last night was one of his softest and most ineffectual games ever. What happened to his 40+ metre passes? I don't think he has kicked a ball more than 25 metres this whole season.

Don't get me wrong, still love him. Just wondering what's going on in that head of his.

Anyway.

3. Davis
2. Cox
1. McCarthy

Cox and McCarthy get it for sheer effort, and due to the lack of anyone else deserving a mention.
