I know we got to take it one week at a time and all that, but I'd just like to say well done to MM! He has taken our club from being so so, to being a contender. We all give players a wrap when they are doing well and I think its time MM got a wrap too!

mick inherited a very strong eagles list when he arrived there. he wanted a challenge such as nurturing a bunch of kids over a 4-5 yr period and is doing a bloody good job at it. just on MM, how long does his contract run for?

From memory Ramjet, MM extended his contract another 3 years after this one.

Mick Malthouse you are a legend buddy!

I remember New Years Eve 1999 going to 2000 we played Carlton at the 'G'. It was Mick's first match as Collingwood Coach and we didnt play very well. I remember taking my best bud, Kelly, who goes for essendon with me as she was going to watch the fireworks in town with us. She just laughed and said "god you guys are crap." (she's eating her words now).

I remember thinking wow, this coach is doing us good, NOT! As I was an idiotic 11 year old chick i didn't even think he just started coaching them properly that day. It's not like he comes and they are automatically good lol.

Well anyways i have grown up now and can see he is an excellent coach!
