Looks like it's a goer - just read on teh AFL's excuse that is a website that he's going to be training with us one night a week - if we can get in his head now it's gotta give us a great chance of him picking us over tigers. plus we're going to the finals. they're going down the gurgler. not really a hard decisiobn actually!!!
form the aFL website:
The Magpies have been given permission by the AFL for Cameron Cloke, son of former Collingwood and Richmond champion David, to train one night a week with them.

They will all play for us. The Clokes are big on family values and thier parents have a pretty big say I think. Mrs Cloke has already said she wants the boys together so they'll all be in the black and white colours....you beauty!
My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die. |

The perfect sealer would be to offer Cameron Cloke the #33 jumper. Wasn't this the # that Old Man Clokey wore?

Yes, David wore #33. Jason wanted one higher and wants to play 1 more game. Gotta be happy with that attitude.
I don't think it's a question of the Clokes choosing us. It's a question of us choosing them. We have to be satisfied that they are worth the cost - the draft choice. Indications to date are good.
It would be fantastic to have Davis, Shaw(s) and Clokes running around with Richo in the "son's of the centry" team winning flags like their dad's should have.

It would be great to have all the Clokes playing for us. As long as the other two can make it at AFL level like their brother has, and are just as good. It would be fantastic if they all play with the same grit and determination that has personified Jason Cloke this season.

The question is however, will Tony get over his bitterness of Collingwood once and for all? Tony you love Collingwood, stop pretending you don't. Oh...and stop pretending you know what you are talking about, because so often...you are so wrong (BTW, sorry to turn this into Tony Shaw thread if that is the consequence of this post...I hope it's not).
Anyway, how good is Tony's son? Anyone seen him play? How old is he? Does Tim Watson know what he is talking about?
