Couldn't pick an outstanding defender, thought they were all good. Brown did very well on Riewoldt, who was getting the ball kicked to him constantly.
According the stats in The Age, Swan was our leading clearance winner, leading possession getter (with Davis), and leading goal kicker (with JA) -pretty impressive, was able to cover the loss of O'Bree in terms of clearances.
Also impressed by the ability of Maxwell, Toovey, and Goldsack to step up in an important game. |
