Heart in mouth stuff again.............maybe it comes with the colours.
Stanley was brilliant, Cook better than good, Dawes great, Kaffa good foil, Iles solid, Barham and McCarthy very good.
Still love Justin Crow.
Johnno, Dutchy, Woody, Ego and Cox......enjoy the run around next week......I think you'll have a few friends from Friday night. |

Welcome back to the VFL: Obree, Toovey, Bryan, Goldsack and Davis.
Congrats to Dawes, McCarthy or Barham who will make their AFL debut. Stanners well done on your selection and Wood and Rhyce completes the 5.
Whilst you can say that McCarthy and Barham are youing they cannot be any worse than those dropped.

Totally agree mate, Dawes has a great set of hands and is an AFL Forward easily. Stanners needs to come in and be played in the midfield, he is a natural midfielder. Good game. |

Yeah there were some promising signs.
The Commentators said a couple of times Dawes looked like a 50 game AFL player.
Liked the look of Barham.Not ready for AFL by a way yet but shows promise.
Stanley and McCarthy looked very good in the midfield, Crow looks like an AFL quality defender. Very handy VFL player.
Egan seems to have put on serious muscle around the shoulders, saw him run into trouble, stop and give a Geelong player a "don't argue" in the chest that knocked him over. Didn't do anything that screamed "recall him to the Snr's" but looks like he's having a dip which is great.
