Some of the results from 87 are horrific http://afl.allthestats.com/teams/teamseas.php?t1=4&yrfm=1987
1987 was the worse season I ever saw from Collingwood F.C, even worse than 1999 for me, there was a host of reasons mainly injuries to key players (Daicos, Taylor, Cloke, Shaw etc) and a very young list, many of whom played in the under 19 premeirship side of 1986, therefore Matthews done a terrific job in 88 getting to the team to 2nd after the home & away season only to bow out in straight sets.
2 years later the prize was ours _________________ ************ANTI SIG************ |

dunno, I just reckon we've done our quota of 'losing the unlosable games' this year. Surely _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Sincerely hope you're right frankiboy. I'll tell you what, there'll be no messing around with my avatar from now on. The Scum game and last Friday night really blew up in my face (avatar).
Hey what happened to your winking emu?

no, no, no. i'm a little bit disappointed in you franki. you should know better than that. you have followed the pies long enough to know that if there is one iota of a chance of embarrassing ourselves we'll grab it with open arms and embrace it fully. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Unfortunately, 10kb is all we're allowed and I'm not satisfied about downgrading the image quality to fit it in _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Essendon are $3.30, I'm tempted to put a 'green one' on them.
Win/Win either way. _________________ ************ANTI SIG************ |

^yeh remember the matchups they had last time? it was the main reason we smashed them. Fletcher went forward on Nathan Brown, and Courtney Johns was on Pendlebury lmao |

Ya right J26. The Dons always start well against us, it's crucial we start with a bang and roll these red sashed turds. If David Hille has a good first quarter, this will lead me to the panadol very quickly.
That 2006 rd 19 clash still has me livid. If Collingwood are worth a pinch of sh!t this year, we will beat Essendon. If we don't win, that'll be the final nail in the coffin for me as far as this year goes.
Can someone tell me when the Pre-season high altitude traning benefits kick in? I hope it's some time before Christmas!
