Post subject: Our Run HomeReply with quote

Sydney (away) - WIN - Our history suggests we should win. I am confident. We will be desperate to not lose three in a row, and possibly out of the eight. And they stand between us and a top four spot. Very important game.

Adelaide (home) - WIN - at the G, they have not been in great form. we can do it. they will be coming off a week's break though

Kangaroos (telstra dome) - LOSS - could go either way. if we win both the sydney and crows game, i'd pencil in a loss, knowing us.

Essendon (MCG) - Win. Simple,

Hawks (MCG) - Loss.

Port Adelaide (away) - Win. we travel well and they haven't been travelling well at all.

Sydney (home) - Win. memories of last year where we played them in the split round then, then met them in round 21, then met them first week of finals, and killed them all 3 times Laughing

Fremantle (away) - Win.

So that;s 6 more wins, taking us to 19 wins.

using ladder predictor, the ladder finish would be:

1 cats
2 hawks
3 bulldogs
4 collingwood
5 adelaide
6 north
7 brisbane
8 sydney

you might be shocked at seeing sydney so low, but they have a shocking run home, including to losses to us !! Laughing

Negatives:
-No Rocca
-No Reid...it's more bad for him than bad for the team really, because he is only showing signs at this stage. He isn't that Valuable to our team yet. in the future, yes he is likely to be
-niggling injuries, fraser, leon, didak, clarke....will they playout the season through injury or will they recover after this week?

Positives:
- We get a week's break now to recharge
- Other than the Carlton game, we have been in pretty good form the last 5 weeks.
-Presti is back, Cloke is back
-toovey is in great form Laughing

Get excited people, the dream is still alive

We should finish somewhere in the bottom half of the top 8. No matter wat happens if we win in the 1st week of the finals, we are gonna be playing in melb in the 2nd week, unlike last year, we we had to travel to Perth.

ok i'll take it for granted that everyone agrees with my analysis Wink

first week of finals:

1 cats
2 hawks
3 bulldogs
4 collingwood
5 adelaide
6 north
7 brisbane
8 sydney

cats v pies = pies would annihilate the cats. they are the team i'd most like to play
hawks v dogs = hawks would win.

crows v swans = swans
north v lions = lions

2nd week:
cats v lions = cats
dogs v swans = dogs

3rd week:
dogs v pies = pies would win, look how close we came!! dogs would choke they cant handle the finals

hawks v cats = blockbuster game, cats would come out on top

FINAL:

Collingwood Versus Geelong

Result? Helloooooooo Number 15 !!!!!!!

GO PIES!

i would have thought brisbane's run home was pretty good. they are a top 4 chance.

Don't know about top 4 though, but really you would have to say Geelong, Bulldogs and Hawthorn are gonna finish in the top 4. So top 4 spot is anyone.
I don't rate Adelaide at all and also Sydney have a soft spot.

i'm with you on this. sydney is 50/50 in spite of our recent good form against them. i am a bit iffy about the freo game too, being the last h&a game and over there, they are just as likely to come out and smash us to prove a point to their rancid fans and of course put a dent in our finals plans.

Exactly my thoughts when I saw the first post, but then he claims a 15th flag.

I am all for being optimistic about our teams chances, but come-on get real.

Love the Pies to prove me wrong, but we are no chance for the flag on our current form.

The games i'm worried about are:

Sydney Round 14 & 21 : After 4 straight wins against these bloke they will want to set the record straight, Round 21 game is at TD which will suit them.

North Round 16: No doubt they will pull some shinerboner spirit out of there arse.

Round 18: Hawthorn: Who will stop the Buddy & Roughey show?

Round 20: Port: over there they will build it up as there GF.

Round 22: Freo over there (see above)

Sydney (away) -LOSS

Richmond WIN

Port Adelaide (away) - WIN

Sydney (home) - LOSS

Fremantle (away) - WIN

SO that means 13 wins 9 losses. But a quick exit in the finals.

with other results falling our way, this should see us top 4

whats with the quick exit?
