What's going on with Adkins?

Excuse my ignorance but what's happening with Adkins? Great player two years ago, suffered OP during pre season last year, hardly played a game last year and haven't seen him in the seniors this year (if I remember correctly).

When can we expect a return by Adkins? Is he fit enough?

adkins has been killing them in the magoos. been in the best 2-3 players every week and has been unlucky not to get a seniors recall already this season. as you mention he's had a lot of problems with OP but played just about every game for williamstown so far. probably only the success of the seniors this year has kept him out - hard to make many changes to a winning side. injury free, id expect (and hope) to see damian play a few games in the seniors before finals. wouldnt want to be hit by a couple of injuries in round 21-22 and have to bring in a bloke who has barely played seniors footy for almost 2 yrs. of course, steinfort, lonie, scotland, dimma, shaw etc are all in the same category.

Good to hear he is playing well. Perhaps he should be put on the interchange for a match and play off the bench. It would be good to see him back at some stage. He would be handy if we did hit a few injuries, however, I believe he has the ability to make the senior team outright. Guess we will have to wait and see as to when he is finally promoted.
