When we go down the Dam wings it means ot forwards are kicking for goal on an angle and not on straight on and that's why I think we miss so many goals.
Your Thoughts?
We need to center the ball more _________________ I am Da Man

Translated:
1. Its tough kicking goals from the Dam.
2. DTM suggests we get Angal, a Spanish bull fighter, to help us with our shots at goal.
3. Our goal kicking is poor _________________ Beware the swooping Magpie. |

So THAT's where the government is putting that new Dam
...and I'm pretty sure we centre the ball in Australia, not center.... _________________ Collingwood es bueno para siempre

Is Damming the wings a way to stop the flood?
I thought our problem was handling the rolling zone _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club

In front, on an angle, 15 out, doesn't matter our kicking is shite regardless. |

Clokey missed two set shots from within 30 metres at the weekend. Barely any angle to speak of. Ditto Meddars. |

I posted about this earlier in the year,
I agree cloke isnt the best kick in the side, but wouldnt it make it more difficult having a shot from the boundary.
JMCP dissagreed with me and start giving me percentages and all this crap,so didnt bother with it.
I say boundary line footy is a waste, straight down the guts,we learn that as a kid,we take it to the grave. _________________ THEY JUST HATE US

Would have really helped with Clokes misses on Sun.....
Or how about the one at the Ponny end last week where he was 15 metres out directly in front.....?? _________________ Beware the swooping Magpie. |

if you watch zone footy live, I understand why mick plays the boundary line. Bring the ball out wide kick to a target one out if the ball spills it goes out of bounds for a throw in. You then see every one set up for the throw in and this why we have to be good at clearances as the zone defence disapears and we can gain yardage into our forward line. You play down the middle if skill error is made it is an instant turnover and most probably a goal at AFL level. |
