Lucky my arse...what happened tonite was a true sign that we have arrived as a power house in the competition.

It was frustrating watching the skills drop off in 2nd and 3rd terms. It seemed like we were lost. But, to the boys credit, they re-grouped and got back to some great footy in the last quarter.

A win is a win, but we can't afford to have those lapses against the top sides or we will be severely punished and not have a chance to recover.

LUCKY?? Give me a break pleeeeeease!! We were very unlucky in the first quarter...5 goals 9 behinds! We went into the break with 14 scoring shots to 3! The Swans then went into their frustrating flooding game (which is how they have beaten us the last few years)and the game went sour, as our running game was stopped and we couldn't find any loose options as the flood covered everything!! I thought our last quarter was terrific and it is a very good sign to be down for 2 whole quarters of football and finish strongly like we did! I just want to add......WHAT A SENSATIONAL GOAL FROM "DIDAK" THE ONE THAT PUT US UP! 55 METRES OUT...BEAUTIFUL LEFT FOOT GOAL! WOOHOO!!

LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!what absolute CRAP....the better side won,the Swans were no match for a far more superior side,my mrs had the SH*TS because the Swans was loosing and all in all the boys won,they won well and they are EQUAL on top of the ladder in FIRST PLACE.
Next week is 'D' at the 'G' and its on Monday.....should be excellent,as long as the PIES dont play catch up footy,they will BATH the 'D'

Do you guys know what a great sign is?

That game was identical to the game we played against them last year. We played terrible in the 2nd and 3rd and in the 4th they just held on to their lead to win.

Exactly the same this time, except this time we fought harder, got back, and won.

A great sign that this team is heading in the right direction.

it was not luck. they needed to step up in the last quarter and tarrant and fraser did just that. it's a sign of a great team when they play poorly and still win.

kudos must also go to presti who kept big bad bustling meathead quiet.

yes well it was good though the 2nd Q was a bit on the boring side.

some wanka hawthorn supporters we saw after the game were trying to bag us and were saying that the pies wont make the finals. of course we gave it 2 em.

I thnk clokeforever is being a tad harsh.Sydney play a very boring flooding type game.But they play it with great disciplane.If you don't move the ball quickly and take your first option you are in real trouble.It took us a long time to adjust to their game in the 2nd and third quarters but when the game was there to be won we stood up.
