Post subject: Lonie not playing in VFL (Cloke out RUMOUR) Trouble!!!!!! | |
|
SO we have Reid out with a Hip injury (does anyone know how bad it is?)
Anthony is in for Reid
Lonie was the other emergency, but is not playing on the VFL... I hope there is not another late change! _________________ Some call him Dids or Didak, but he will always be a DAKSTAR!

There is a strong rumour going around that CLoke is not playing!!! I hope that he does or we are in real trouble I think!
It makes sense too!
Why would JAJH say that Anthony is playing at Full forward when we have Rocca & Cloke????
Well I believe that Rocca will play CHF & Anthony out of the square with Maxwell to play up forward too... Lonie to come in to play a defensive role for Maxwell...
So we have Lonie & Toovey in the backline...
Anthony at Full forward????
Out it this was I am putting $50 on the tigers because at $3 they are a certainty if we line up like this!!!
I thought the days of having Toovey & Lonie on the same backline would never come, but here we go!!
Big trouble for us & I hope that Cloke/Reid/Goldsack/Clarke all come in very quickly or we are in trouble...
Our season could be on the line the next few weeks!! _________________ Some call him Dids or Didak, but he will always be a DAKSTAR! |

Anthony has played FF before.
We brought reid in to play FF why wouldnt his replacement play there?
Why would Rocca our monster forward play th lead up role to the wings cloke plays if cloke is left out? its would make more sense to use the fitter maxwell/anthony/medhurst/thomas in that role.
Two emergencies always miss VFL games.
Most crazy of all why would anyone bring in a running player like lonie for a marking player like cloke? makes no sense.
Finally Cloke played out last week, he didnt have a limp this week, training inside was a precautionary.
Just calm down and look at the real facts here _________________ Get presti a goal please donate |

How do we know Reid is out in the first place?????????
Surely we need to wait for conformation and Cloke finished off last week, i don't think he'll be a late withdrawral _________________ Premiers #08 |

I like JA down back as well and expect him to end up there, but he looks a likely sort as a lead out forward, Clement started forward kicked 6(?) against Essendon as Glacier (waverly) park one match. I think until under 18s Jack was always a forward and in under 18s he was used as a swingman ala Hunter. JAJH would provide a better history i woudl suggest.
The biggest problem with cloke being out and JA playing FF is that Cloke isnt our FF at the start of the year rus was and last week any one of thomas, didak, and Medhurst was.
So im not going to start ruingin my underpanst just yet _________________ Get presti a goal please donate |

No need to panic.
If Cloke is out, no problem. Just play Rocca at CHF and switch an experienced big-marking ball magnet to full forward. Ideally, this would be someone who is already in the side and match fit, and doesn't really have an opponent up the other end of the ground that must be shut down. With Brown covering Richo and no other top-class marking forwards to worry about, the answer is clear.
Obviously, Shane Wakelin is the man for the job. (Hey, he kicked one last year, who is to say he couldn't do even better and kick two goals this year?)

AFL Gameday has Cloke, Reid, Anthony & Lonie in, but no Toovey. _________________ "And that effort by Ezard was pathetic" - Don Scott. |

I agree - Wakes to FF. Season defining (and career defining) moment. Wakes could play another 5 years at FF LOve you work Tannin!

Jeez, Ben, now you are really thinking! Crikey, now that Wakes has arrived on the scene, no-one will remember hacks like Daicos and McKenna. If Wakes plays at full forward for the next three or four years he could retire with probably as many as 10 or even 15 career goals for Collingwood! |

Not sure I'd rather Lonie over Toovey... and that's saying something.
The softest player going around, vs. terrible disposal. _________________ "We're goin places."
