Those of you who aren't travelling over to Adelaide, where are you going to watch this Friday night's game?

I'm going to the Geebung (Flemington) to watch it on the big screen there, and apparently there are drink specials on Friday nights. Can't wait!!!

And on FTO there's talk that a lot of them are going to the All Star Cafe to watch it.

I won't be able to see it. I'm working at the Bendigo Braves game. I really must talk to SEABL about their fixturing.

You a local to that area Kristin??? So am I. Never thought of the Geebung as a footy type pub. Will get pretty chockers in there towards the end of the game, I think allstar would be a better (but more expensive) bet.

Might see you around

I used to live in Ascot Vale and now live in Pascoe Vale (which is still fairly close to Flemington). I used to go to the Geebung a fair bit, so now know a few of the bouncers there, and I find it's pretty good to watch the footy (though no volume!). Then when it's over, it's time for a perv and a dance, and usually you make friends with others who are watching the footy too!

Yeah thats a good question. Im not sure where im going yet but im open to any offers or suggestions!!

However i need somewhere with volume so i can feel the atmosphere. I want somewhere with beer and somewhere rowdy.

Can you believe All Star Cafe is charging $15 per game for the World Cup in the early rounds. What a joke.

I am the game, you don't wanna play me
I am control, no way you can change me
I am have heavy debts, no way you can pay me
I am the pain, and I know you can't take me

Look over your shoulder, ready to run
Like a good little bitch, from a smoking gun
I am the game, and I make the rules
So move on out, and you can die like a fool
Play the game, you're gonna be the same
You're gonna change your name, you're gonna die in flames
Hahahahaha
Time to play the game!

JLC, you could always take a walkman and listen to the radio broadcast. That should clear up the atmosphere problem.
Like a lot of others, I'll be in the Virtual outer, and the drinks are free!! (as long as hawksfan keeps 'em coming)

well in WA we get it on tv about 4 hours after it starts so i will have to bravely put up with a drew morphett call again on ABC.I cannot wait that long to know the result!!

take note mr president and your bloody delay friday tv network.

But as the weather here is still beaut,we will set up the tv in the outdoor area and watch the replay, while having a bbq and the obligatory beer or 24.

If the unlikely happens and we lose,i will just tape it and watch at a more friendly hour in the morning and gives nines ads the short shift.

In answer to your question, at Football Park

Goodbye Dolly I must leave you, though it breaks my heart to go,
Something tells me I am needed at the front to fight the foe,
See - the soldier boys are marching and I can no longer stay,
Hark - I hear the bugle calling, goodbye Dolly Gray.

GOOD OLD COLLINGWOOD FOREVER, WE KNOW HOW TO PLAY THE GAME,
SIDE BY SIDE WE STICK TOGETHER, TO UPHOLD THE MAGPIES NAME.
SEE THE BARRACKERS SHOUTING, AS ALL BARRACKERS SHOULD,
OH, THE PREMIERSHIP'S A CAKEWALK FOR THE GOOD OLD COLLINGWOOD

If the game starts atjust gone 8pm then it might be a live broadcast. Does the game start at 8.30pm?.

I am not one for the radio broadcasts, I prefer to see a actual picture on the screen.

I'll be at the Colonial stadium for the swans game(next game) and can't wait because I have to admit that there's nothing to actually being there.

GO THE MIGHTY 2002 MAGPIES!!

Jarrod Molloy RULES!!!!
