Who would YOU vote for?

I know nothing about any of their policies, but I'm going to say Obama because, from what I've seen so far:

Huckabee is a Christian fruitcake, and also a Republican;
McCain is a Republican;
and Clinton is a Clinton.

Oh, and someone mentioned John Edward today.... yep, that guy who couldn't get the nod over John Kerry. Geeez.

Anyway, I'll be hoping Obama gets in this time... dunno how good he'd be at it, but hey, he can't be any worse than Bush, right?

The American people are going to do it very hard this election.
The Democrats should win hands down, but can America vote for a woman or a Black man?
I seriously doubt it.
A win for the repubs against the trend.

I don't really care, but it will be interesting. Unfortunately when the US farts the rest of the world shits itself in rhythm.

I'm probably leaning toward Obama becase he doesn't make a big enough issue of his race to piss off the rednecks yet is still more likely to get the African American vote.

I am on the Obama bandwagon. Very Happy I think he has the charisma and knowledge to be a wonderful president in particular in the area of foreign relations. And I would also love to see an African American become the US president.

Go Obama!

McCain, Guliani, Huckabee and Romney make Howard look like a greenie. So no fkn way.

Clinton and Obama are both much further to the right then the ALP, and are rubbish, pro-corporate types. Obama is slightly more left wing than Clinton, so he gets a slight nod.

Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich were decent (both are to the left of the Greens here in Oz), while Edwards actually had some credibility when it came to being serious about tackling inequality and poverty, issues that Obama and Clinton rarely touch upon.

To those of you who say you don't care, putting your head in the sand doesn't change the fact that US politics fundamentally affects the lives of every single person on this planet. If Clinton decides that bombing Iran is a good idea (as she has mentioned a few times), if Obama decides that bombing Pakistan is a good idea (as HE has mentioned a few times), if McCain thinks that expanding the war on terror is a good idea (as he says every day), then humanity is going to pay for it, one way or another.

If Obama wins he will be controlled by Oprah!

He was well behind in the polls until she came out and ordered the American people to vote for him.

I would rather have Bush remain than have the worlds super power in her hands.

Hilary for mine would be the best choice.
