there is a country artist named sara evans who had a song called

'real fine place to start'

i think that song was as good as any song to come out last year but no commercail stations would even give it a chance

You cannot compare the recording charts of the 21st century with those of the late 20th century.
There is so much more diversity in the music that is available to the general public these days. The way we get our music is also much more varied than last century.
This makes "charts" and commercial radio largely irrelevant.

yes well, each to their own. My father would have said the same thing about music in the late 60s, 70's and 80s.

I've done very little research on Karen and how she died, nor do I care BUT I do like their music. If some bothered to take the time and read the lyrics, then, maybe, just maybe, you may find a few surprises.

'Calling Occupants' is a favourite. Cool
