Dave, I was sick of it a long time ago, and I don't even watch much TV.
Reminds me of something funny I saw a couple of nights ago though.
Anyone familiar with that stupid show Entertainment Tonight? I once tuned in hoping to actually find out something interesting about what was happening in film and music news. What I got instead was about 3 stories about Oprah, and a lot of even more pointless bulls**t. I'd changed channels to 'Get Smart' within 20 minutes, realising it wasn't going to get any better.
Anyhow, they had a 5 minute episode of this pathetic excuse for a program on the other night on Foxtel in between shows. And guess what?
Britney has been recorded talking in a British accent. That's right. A British accent. OH MY GOD.
What was even more amusing was ET's prognosis of the situation: "We think it may be an example of a multiple personality disorder, or [wait for it] sympathy for the late Princess Diana."
What was it? An amusing moment of self-parody? Some kind of in-joke? Or are the people who make this show complete morons? _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I can guarantee you the editors of the womans mags and the teen mags are looking forward to a significant boost in sales over the next couple of weeks.
If the demand was not there, generated by us the public, no air time would be given to such airheads.
I suppose even this thread is promoting it. |
