Not an unexpected result, any sane observer would realise...
(a) he did it.. The Australian players, whatever their faults (perceived or otherwise) wouldn't have arced up if he didn't.
(b) he got off via the 'threat' to bankrupt Cricket Australia. |

It's just another thing the Indians have *ucked up. They have ruined their country and now they *ucked a quality game. I hope good old fashioned racism rears it's head at the G for the day nighter.
The decision came about for only one reason and that was money.
I hate Indians with a passion, their attitude is we owe them. *uck them, we owe them nothing and we should remove their visa's tell them to piss off and cancel our tour of India. If we pulled the same *hit their we would not make it out of the hotel let alone get to the airport. |

The sort of brute-force 'negotiating' that the BCCI used is what western countries do to third world nations every f'king day on the far more important issues of trade.
Stop being so f'king racist, and get a clue. In this system everybody uses their power to achieve outcomes that are the best for themselves.
Did you know that we are stealing oilfields from East Timor, one of the poorest nations in the world? We have absolutely no right over most of the oil, but due to our bargaining clout, we're getting a fair chunk of it.

I have no problem with the aussies being punished when they come out with crap like this. ANYONE who makes racist remarks on the field should be punished, end of story. To not punish everyone equally simply reinforces the very racism you are trying to stamp out via punishment.
Its absurd.
And the argument that its somehow okay simply because both sides do it, or because one side is worse is even more ridiculous. |
