Just checked the fixture out. Looking at it, I see no reason why we can't win our first seven home and away games which will set us up just nicely for September. We really have to give the flag a serious shot this year. I could not live with a one in fifty record getting worse. Lets pull our fingers out and win the flag this year. We fans need to lift our game as well. More chants, less Tess, few more full strength beers to celebrate our glorious victories.

i would love too but there are some hard games in our first seven.

i have us winning them all too but if we are 5 and 2 (losses to brisbane and hawthorn our two hard games) i wouldnt be overly upset.

How about more men speaking their minds? Men are back in 08. Full strength beers, cooked dinners served to us in our lounge while we watch the reply or saturday night game, and my clothes ironed properly. At least this year my misses agreed to keep my beer fridge stocked up after she stuffed my home brew up. And I am not joking Tess.

VB men. Hard Yakka men. Not the nancy boys house husbands they are trying to turn us into.

I strongly doubt we'll win the first 7. We have no idea who'll be strong at the start of the season, last year the Cats were easybeats for the first three weeks and the Bombers looked a final 8 chance and then look what happened.

If Mick Malthouse was a racehorse he'd be a back-marker or at best a pack-runner, not a leader. Even if we were good enough to win all 7 there'd be a tactical loss in there somewhere. By that I don't mean that he'd send the team out with instructions to lose, but that through a combination of training program, team selection and onfield strategy he'll be looking at the big picture and not at the 4 points that weekend as much.

As for the chauvinistic crap, Hiss, I don't really care if you're being tongue-in-cheek or completely sincere, give it a rest. You're just giving ammunition to the bloody feminists.

Highly doubt we will win our first seven.
I wont be surpraised if we get rolled by the Dockers in round 1.

Join the club. I'm talking 1-3 after the first month. Not sure why, either. But fear not, the Kangaroos were at exactly the same junction in 1999 and went on to win a flag.

We should account for Richmond, but Fremantle might finally be ready (been said since 2003), Brisbane at the Gabba is formidable, and Carlton, well, you know.

I go along with that! Laughing

I think it's very important we start the season by folding the Dorkers in half and hiding them in their own freckle. No goals to Taz. They are getting very confident with themselves of late Shocked
