One thing that isn't made clear from the article - were they forced to break up by the law?
If so, that is sad. Provided they didn't have children, I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to continue in their relationship (as bizarre and twisted as it seems).

Pretty sad actually, makes you wonder about the advent of IVF and sperm donation the possibility of other cases like this.

I'm not really sure why it matters that they are genetic brother and sister. All they need to do is just adopt or use IVF themselves, and the problems that arise with children from genetically similar parents are dealt with.
Surely family is much more than just genetic.

I wonder how much of their initial attraction was attributed to the biological connection, if, at all?
Disturbing that such a thing could happen but fascinating all the same. Sigmund would have a ball with this one

I remember there was a story of something similar in the press here a few years go. Not sure if they were married, but twas definitely part of their plans. Think it may have been twins adopted out to diff families at birth. |
