For you and me, absolutely. But there is a line between criminal perversion and youthful experimentation.
Possessing child pornography is not a crime if the person featured is not more than 2 years younger than the possessor. In other words, a minor can consent provided it involves another minor of a similar age - exactly the same as for statutory rape.
Producing child pornography (defined as anything sexual indecent involving someone under the age of 1 is, even if the producer is YOUNGER than the person who is being filmed/photographed and that person has consented.
It's pretty hypocritical situation that 16 year olds can legally have any kind of twisted sex they want as long as it's consential, as long as they don't take photos of each other naked.

FWIW, I wasn't supporting him, just trying to put his actions in context. I think he's an immature self absorbed attention loving tool, but he doesn't deserve the attention he's got for holding a party that went wrong while his parents were away. The kid hosted a party while his parents were away. He lied to his parents. He's 16 years old. The three things sort of go together. He didn't ask for the celebrity ot ask ACA or TT to stalk him. Yes, he enjoyed the experience and had a good time playing with them. (see my earlier description).
He needs a serious foot up the ass (otherwise known as a leather enema) and is displaying his immaturity by hiding from his parents and refusing to face the music.

So the neighbours both adults and children who just happened to have the misfortune to live in the same street as this eejit have no rights cause he had a good time?? Of course they have rights. And they exercised them by calling the Police, who intervened.
How dare they call the police not once but twice and how dare the evil over reacting police force respond to a call for assistance from the public. Good on the cops, I have no issues with their actions.
I reckon if there were 100 let alone a couple of hundred little treasures "having a good time" in my street I would be a bit nervy too .10-15 I'd go out (and have done before), and ask them to tone it down. Done it several times, never had a problem. 100, I'd be calling the cops too.
I don't give a rats what he and his mates did to his own home that's his folks worry - and yes he is young and immature - but does that give him or anyone an excuse for totally ignoring the rights of other who just happen to live near the fool??? Why are his rights more important??? |
You've completely and totally missed my point. I never for a second said his rights were more important or condoned what he did. If he was my neighbor, as s0on as kids started arriving in numbers (I would have gone over and asked him WTF he was doing and warned him that if it got out of hand, I would be calling the cops. Read my post again and if you still don't get it, I'm happy for you to PM me and i'll try to explain.
Oh, and as far as the child porn goes, perspective please. Pornography is really the depiction of sexual activity. Hence, child porn is literally the depiction of a child engaging in esexual activity. Any one who has that is a twisted f*cker. I make exceptions for underage kids who have taken photos of themselves experimenting with a similar age partner.
I'll reserve judgement on this part until we hear exactly what he's done. If he's taken photos of himslef interfering with the neighbours 6 year old, use him for landfill. If he's passing around photos of his 15 year old girlsfriends boobs, get over it.

Of course it's a trumped up charge. Seriously, every teen and his/her partner took photos and made videos of each other that qualify as producing child pornography. I only recently found mine and threw them out immediately

Nope. The producer can even be younger than the subject.
